Brown Goop?

What is the brown slimy stuff that grows on the inside and the exit of all the filter tubes? The part where the water returns to the tank (HOB) is also covered and sometimes looks like its longer like hair.

Is all that stuff BBA?

So this is completely normal!! I also have this stuff in my canister, I only notice that when I clean it and turn it back on and it blow all that stuff all over my tank.

Yea,I usually hold a fish net right over the output nozzle as I turn on the filters so the brown crud goes into the bet instead.
