Got my new lights!

Got my new bulbs in got rid of the actinic, running 2x10k and 2x6500k now. personally I like the color better, the fish pop and the plants immediately started pearling! my swords are giving off a steady stream now lol. you can also see a few of my new discus.

BE WARY

pearling ca be garnered from adding TONS of light.. it doesn't last long after the plants reserve of nutrients, ESPECIALLY carbon nutrients runs out.. then u have no pearling and algae

watch carefully because now you have more photosynhetically active radiation ur plants need of carbon has raised. as said before. it's reserve is very short lived

im just trying to make sure ur aware.. actinic is gone, PAR has been raised if ur pearling so easily now
the demand of c02 has probably increased.. if u see algae appear in the next two weeks.. the cause is c02 i just wish you the best of luck and NO ALGAE

Have had the odyssea since I started the tank. not one lick of trouble, for the price they are hard to beat. the ballasts honestly seem to drive pretty good, the one weak point would be the reflector, its one large reflector versus individual
