Has anyone every incorporated "Lucky Bamboo" into a planted tank?

I have been thinking of setting up a planted tank using some "Lucky Bamboo" (really a type of lilly) that I have laying around. Has anyone tried this before? If so are there any pictures? TIA.

I always see a planted betta tank with lucky bamboo. The whole plant isn't submerged, just the roots and bottom stems.
