Restriction Adjustment for Eheim Classic w/Reactor and Inline Heater
I'm looking to start a new 12gal long and had some questions regarding filtration. I've already decided on the Eheim classic canister. With this tank being a long tank, it seems the common advice is to considerably up the flow rate to compensate for dead areas. Furthermore, to keep things clean, I'll be using an inline heater and reactor. Which brings me back to my original inquiry; With the factors of a long tank, reactor, and heater, how much should I adjust the flow rate to compensate for restrictions. I'm looking for a basement flow rate, as I don't mind T-ing off the return after the inlines and using a smaller dia" hose to stir dead spots and take away from the main return. Any and all advice is appreciated.
Ps, 2215 seems to be my choice so far.
