Trying to setup a nice big tank, since a 75 gallon reef is...Waaaaaaaaaaaay too expensive. I wouldn't be making my own stand, since I'm not exactly handy. Thanks hombres

I bought my 75 with lids, stand and canister filter used for a hundred bucks, spent about forty on pool sand and cheap lighting from walmart. I like buying used, but be careful, I didn't look the canister filter over well enough and realized later that the wire had been chewed into, so have to see if it'll work with some tape or need spliced.

Better to start with a budget ie. can I get up & running for under $300

Than the Congressional method of "Let's See how much we can spend".

Im about $2000 in it and now just adding fish. But remember the cost never stops always something to buy.

Buy used if your on a budget, don't skimp on filtration, and although you don't need much light, a 75G is deep enough that you'll need something powerful enough to grow even low light plants on the bottom.
