Plastic Washer, Co2 Tubing

Gonna setup my first paintball + adapter + Aquatek regulator. The regulator came with plastic washers to use between the tank and the main nut. Should I use it? along with Teflon tape?

What are some connection related dos and don'ts with a 20oz paintball can?

If you are referring to the o-ring then then you should use it to form a seal.

My question is how often do I need to change out that o-ring for a new one? Every time i take it off? If so, where do I get them?

The Aquatek regulators came with two plastic discs not o-rings...

I don't think o rings need to be changed often.

The plastic washers need to be replaced each time you disconnect the regulator. Definitely use the washers, but teflon tape you can probably skip. I don't use it and I'm fairly certain I've read it doesn't do much in co2 applications.
