I have had good luck with Phillips Daylight delux T8 Bulbs 4X overdriven but stock they put out 2800 lomens at a temp of 6500K

Buy them at HD or any other big box store for about $4 a pair

It sounds like you have a 48" tank. One thing that I would reccomend is switching over to power compact lighting. This would mean that you would have to use a different fixture, but I can tell you that it is one of the best decisions that I ever made. Not only will your plants take off with respect to growth, but the tank itself will look stunning because it will be so well illuminated. I went from a 20W plant bulb 6500K in a normal fixture over a 29 gallon to a dual 65W power compact 6700k setup (130W total), and the difference is amazing. Coralife makes a unit that has built in fans that works great IMO.
