Help me obie one is RO my only hope?
I have been bateling GW for months, and finaly got around to testing my well water. I knew it was very hard, 20+ KH and have tried to tackle that with peat and a large peice of driftwood that leaches tannis. I got it down to a KH of 17, but I just tested it for phospates. . .I know stupid me for waiting this long, they are over 10ppm out of the tap!! No wonder I am having GW as the rest of the tests are 0 ( nitrates, nitrites, ammonia) in the tank.
I have put an order in with Greg Watson and should get it in a day or so and have a pressurised system (no PH controler) ready to go.
Will I be able to atain a ballance of nutrients or am I TSOL??
On the plus side I now know why I have GW problems
Is there a way to lower my PHO4 from the tap, and is this necessary with the new ferts?
Thank you all!!

10mg/l of PO4 is pretty high for tap water... I would get a second opinion, perhaps take a sample to your lfs to test?
Anyway, the best way to correct tap water problems is by running it through an RO unit...

I kinda thought that about the RO unit, I hope my test results are waaaay off. . .of course that would not answer why I have such luck cultivating GW.
