How do I get rid of bladderwort? It was fun for a while but its a real eyesore, tangling all about and now its tangling around my precious HC, now thats just wrong man. I looked at previous discussions using the search but didnt really find any info on getting rid of it. I tried pulling out as much as possible with my hands but its not a sure fire way to rid it completely. Any ideas out there, success stories?

I've never heard of bladderwort...I have no idea what plant you're talking about, and thus can't explain how you might remove it.

Its an utricularia, U gibba or something i think? it is dark green in color, with little bulbs at the "nodes", it looks like it is an algae but it really is a carnivorous plant. It is very prolific.

Unless you get very lucky and pull it all out in one go without any breaking off, it's nearly impossible to get rid of it. Sorta like duckweed.......
