IME, Mayaca sellowiana is extremely difficult to grow properly. I've had it several times and my Africans decided it tasted good, so that may have been my problem. It is beautiful when fresh, but it tends to start looking like a wet cat after a while in my tank. I wish I could get it to grow well because it is one of the most beautiful plants I have ever kept. Sorry if I don't have good advice for you man :P

The computer allows you to make mistakes faster than any other invention, with the possible exception of handguns and tequila.

No clue if it helps any, but I've got Mayaca fluviatilis. It had a hard time for quite a while. Leaves dropping off, looking kinda thin and scraggly. Once I started hitting my trace dosing (CSM+B) to a much higher (actually, more standard based on many others on this forum), it started growing pretty well. I might even be able to start peddling some soon.
