40b or 60g cube?

So, I am waffling ... I can get a 40 breeder, or snag a 60g cube (24"x24"x24").

I will be placing a single angelfish in it, with something schoolish for accent most likely. I have several ideas for 'scaping in either choice.

Which would you choose, and why?

edited to add a third choice due to a suggestion -- 50g breeder.

ARGH too many choices, lol

I have always wanted a 40 breeder, but a 50 breeder is bigger, therefore better. Never have liked cube tanks so the 60 is out in my opinion.

50 breeder I say!
Good luck!

The 40 breeder is the perfect fish tank, but if you can get a good deal on a 50 breeder, I would do that instead. It's just like the 40, but "perfecter."

Of course, you can often snag for the 40 breeder for $40 during the PetCo $1/gallon sale. I don't know that you'll be able to find a new 50 breeder for that. Come to think of it, I've never seen a 50 breeder? Do they really exist?

Yeah, the Petsmart near me has a couple of the 50b's. A little pricey, but I have seen them.

Since you said angelfish I vote 50B. They look best in taller tanks and I think thee do a little better in them. Also more swimming length.

I like Cubes for corners & smaller spaces. Too much tank in a too small a space always looks bad.

Alrighty then

No cube, lol. The other two are neck and neck ... and I think the decision on that will be "whichever I can get cheapest first".

Thank you all ... was very helpful
