Native Tank ideas?

I know its almost winter but I have an empty 30 gal and thought it would be cool to put some native fish/plants in there. I live in NH and we have a huge lake and tons of river's to our disposal. I was thinking of a river sort of tank and include some baby fish and small minnows, darter, suckers, dace and possible some small crayfish. But I need a plan, as in the spring I usually find an abundance of baby suckers, trout, dace and minnows and I want to be ready.

We went to this one sand bar earlier this year and I caught roughly 30 baby Small mouth bass that were less than an inch or so and ended up keeping them for a few days then releasing them back.

Any Ideas for a smaller native tank?

You could do a darter and dace tank. Maybe even some shiners. A crayfish will eat the darters. The other fish will get to big for a 30. You should never release a fish back into the wild after being in tank for any period of time. Who know what kind of parasites or diseases you might be introducing into an environment that has never seen them. Plus it is illegal in most states. Here are some of my native tanks
