Plants you'd like to see farmed within the hobby.

So I sold my big UG farm a while back since I'm downsizing for the sake of simplicity, but I still have a couple smaller tanks that'd I'd like to do some projects with. I'm looking to do what I basically did with the UG, establish a small but mostly constant supply for the hobby for hard to find foregrounds. I'm currently looking at Elatine Triandra and Belem hair grass, along with continuing small amounts of UG.

Thoughts?

+1 to Ranunculus inundatus... i almost feel like it should be as mass-produced as HC. It's a really cool plant!

If I was running CO2 I'd like the Elatine Triandra. I think if you going start a new "crop" the high light CO2 needy plants would be the ones to raise. I think because they are more work they will be in higher demand.

R inundatus is easy to grow and still decently fast too.. I'd rather see the tonina f/b/m species grown out and more profilic as well as the bucephelandra and h pinnatifida species.

Various Eriocaulon are always interesting and worth the effort with the prices they command.

Tank: 20 gallons, 62 watts t5, DIY CO2

Unemployed, poor, and still living off the parents.

We have a plant grower in MD called Carnivorous Plants or something like that and they sell UG in both forms, they do have a website.

Easy to grow and fast growing is a bad thing?

It is SO cool looking, and yet it is really hard to get. Only a few people are growing it and it rarely comes up for sale in the forums. If anyone has some, please send me some!
