The point of the planted aquarium hobby, is to find joy/pleasure in the proper husbandry of planted aquariums.

the point to me, is to make a home for your fish that will make them comfortable to live in and be pleasing to the eye.

It allows us to be creative, scientific, and artistic. Ultimately it is a calming and fulfillin hobby, essentially offering the same result as most any hobby does. Same as gardening, painting, music, ect...
