1. Cryptocoryne Wendtii - Looks great, super easy to grow
2. Christmas / Peacock Moss - Grows into a clean dense mat, much better than java
3. Rotala Indica - Easy to grow, can be a variety of different colors in different light intensities
4. HC- Great carpet plant, love the color and growth pattern
5. Java Fern - I hated it for years, but the different varieties and infinite uses in almost any aquascape now make it a staple in my tanks

My all-time favorite is Diodia cf. kuntzei... Though I have yet to find someone who is willing to sell me a stem of it!

Other ones that I especially like:
- Rotala mexicana 'araguaia'
- Ludwigia senegalensis
- Ludwigia 'curly'
- Eriocaulon 'ban ba wa'
+ many more...

Bolbitis heudelotii - dark and lovely
Crypt. Nurii - effortless elegance
Trithuria sp. (Erio Blood Vomit) - no explanation necessary
E. Belem Hairgrass - perfect height
Lillaeopsis 'Mini" - best runner, strong green
