Backgrounds

Has anyone seen these in real life?

Back To Nature ...

I probably don't want to know how much something like that would cost ...

Did you catch the installation procedure for those things? Hardly plug and play if you ask me .

Yes, and as compelling as it looks, did you notice that the one linked USA distributor's site prominently features "finance options"?

I believe Robert Hudson of Aqua Botanic carried these or something similar to these a while ago. Maybe he thought about carrying them, I think.

Anyway, I am pretty sure he has had some experience with them. If you are really interested, contact him. I am pretty sure he can fill you in.

"Intrigued" I think is the word . I can tell just by looking that these things probably cost more than the whole tank set-up combined. Not that I wouldn't mind having one, mind .

They do look nice, but would take up too much room, and I guess you could figure out how to get the filter intakes and spray bars in there, but after all of that how would you ever clean behind the thing.
I think you needed financing at that site because he only sold them installed in the tank or full system with stand and hood.
I think I'd rather hire a good faux painter to do a background rather than put up with all of the potential problems of that installation and maintenance.

Not plug and play. Also, it was quite expensive the last time that I checked.
