How much Flourish

Should I be adding to a 240 watt, CO2 controlled 90 gallon tank?

I tried using the search function, and came up with 1X, 3X and 5X the recomended dose.

I have a sword that is throwing it's first pale leaf, and am suspecting iron. I am also having a fight with hair algae.

I dose also with GW Kno3, K2SO4, and fleet. I test with Lamoote for the NO3 and PO4. I run about 15 -20 on the NO3, and 1-2 PO4.

So, adding flourish every other day, how many ml's?

Tnak has been running for a couple of months now, and aside from Ich, is doing pretty good.

I also notice the fertilator has 'new' and 'old' flourish, how do I know what I have? 2 Liter's from big ol al for $19.95 four months ago.

Thanks for any and all thoughts!

Are we talking Flourish or Flourish Iron? I'm assuming iron, just dose at the label rate of 5ml per 50 gallons at first and see how it goes would be my suggestion. If it's flourish, ten you're going to have to adjust for the overlap with your other ferts.

Or I could just be babbling.

You're sword would be best fed at the roots in my opinion, give it flourish tab, or any good iron tab and it will grow out of the tank and hug you

Nope, not the iron, at least not yet. I was hoping the flourish that I bought would supply enough?

Is there a garden store root tab that is JUST iron? I don't want to deal with jobes green water tabs!

When I first set up the tank, I put a package of flourish tabs around willy nilly in the tank. They are now about 2 months old, I read they are good for about 4 months.

I personally recommend and use "Root Tabs plus" (Aquarium Pharmaceuticals) more than an iron supplement but very good IMO.

K20 3%
MG 1%
S 3%
FE15%
Derived from Potassium Sulfate, Magnesium Sulfate and Iron Sucrate.

I used to use just iron tabs, but these seem to give me better results and the LFS gave me a pack to try for free, I now buy them in 60ct. boxes, add them about once every month, and I dose Flourish and Flourish Iron per label twice a week, 50% water changes every week.

I stopped testing, so far the results are quite good.
