Post Aqueon Water Clarifier

I just bought a bottle of Aqueon Water Clarifier and was wondering if this would be helpful for my driftwood tannin problem. Also i was wondering if this would be bad for plants.
Thanks

No. Water changes will be the only problem. Water clarifier works by binding molecules together and allowing your filter to remove it. It is a "bandaid" at best and won't touch tannin stained water. Seachem Purigen in your filter will help, but again, water changes and time are the key here.
