my little diffusor mod, 180 degree turn

I have diy co2, I use a elite mini summer filters my diffusor.. I turned the filter horizontally and now a lot of bubbles get stuck inside the cap. They naturally float inside the cap. However they are too big to get out of the little vents where the water is drawn in. As time goes on the bubbles keep in contact with the water until they make their way to the impeller and get chopped up. I really like it.
