Just arrived home from the LFS when...

I find one of my beloved Oto dried up on the carpet...and i was contemplating whether or not i should get another pair for my other tanks.

*sigh* I guess I'll have to go back for another pair, I had just finished acclimating him from the main tank into the shrimp tank in order to help clear the algae on the glass. Now I have one huge bellied oto remaining, and a dried up oto.

Was he dried up or did he look dried up? Did you try putting him in water? I've heard of some really unbelievable stories where fish jumped looked dried up but they put them in te tank and they recovered. Either way that sucks. When I had a beta I found him dried up on my floor because he jumped.

Hcancino I've been gone for about five hours, i'm not too sure if he's still alive, but i've place him in some water just in case.
