Live foods

I'd like to start feeding my fish live foods and I read the FAQ and think that some sort of microworm is perfect for the means I have available - question is...where do I get the microworms to start my culture? Can I get them from somebody in the Swap-N-Shop? Thanks!

Just so you're aware- microworms are TEENSY. I mean, so tiny you can barely see them. So as long as you're feeding teensy fish (fry, dario dario) they are great. I got an awesome starter from chrisnif.

The largest fish I plan on keeping is probably going to be Cardinal Tetras, so teensy is probably okay. I will have to message Chrisnif and inquire, thanks!

Microworm is only about 50 microns in diameter and about 2 mm long. This may be too small for tetras and they may not even notice it. Also you'd have to feed a lot of them in order to not starve your tetras.

I moss be in love

I just read what the FAQ had to say and sounds simple enough - where might I be able to get to worms to start up?

I just started 5 new grindal worm cultures today. One should be ready around the same time your crypts are. They are super easy to keep and your fish will love them!
