Best DIY Spay Bar For Planted Tank?

I am looking to make a DIY spay bar for my Co2 Injected tank, I use a Fluval 405 with an Inline atomic diffuser for Co2. I want to make a spray bar out of PVC Pipe, and Elbow, And a Cap. What is the best way to design the holes in order to get the co2 pushed down into the water the best? also can I some how make it black? Or would using an Knock off lily pipe be better?

I have a 7 foot tank with a 5 foot horizontal spraybar, its a drilled tank and the pump return comes up through the overflow, it makes a U over the overflow box the uses a 3/4 to 1/2 elbow to go horizontaly across the tank. I drilled 1/8th inch holes every inch along the spraybar and capped it with a half inch cap. Pump is 750 GPH, i used krylon fusion dark green for plastic, make sure it dries for at least 8 hours before you put it in water or it can flake off.
