why put that much work into a ten gallon tank...add up your materials and time
you could pick up a diff't tank, and not worry about it leaking when ur not at home...just my .02$

Supplies to fix a ten gallon would end up costing more than getting a new tank. If it is a really small crack it may not make that much of a diff. structurally speaking. Just dont fill it all the way up.

Go to walmart, spend 11 dollars on 10g tank. Take old tank, put in recycling.

Done.

If it's a top corner, just silicone the crack on both sides and set aside as a quarantine tank. Then get a new tank to take it's place. If it's cracked in a bottom corner just toss it out then get a new one.

Never argue with a fool. Onlookers often can't tell the difference.
Growing older is mandatory, growing up is optional.
My advice is free and worth every penny.

I agree with the idea of just buying a new 10 gallon. I have tried to seal crack and have never had luck. Just think, do you want to have to tear down a whole tank in a couple of months if the tank decides to fail.
