What in the hell is in my tank?!

Just noticed for the first time today, (got a new batch of plants in the mail today...I assume it's related) worms of some sort?? Perhaps a little less than an inch in length (the biggest...there are also tiny ones maybe a quarter of an inch), the diameter of a piece of thread, pinkish, and they swim like a snake. Any ideas???

some sort of detritus worm. u can get them from overfeeding too.. they are almost impossible to keep from happening as they encyst themselves to survive harsh environments and can be carried on everything u can imagine putting in ur tank. most fish happily eat them. keep ur tank clean and u wont ever see them

I'm pretty sure they came in on the plants I added to my tank today. I wish I had fish in my tank that would want to eat them...I've only got Otocinclus at the minute and they seem more impressed by celery. Thanks for the info!
