Hair algae attacks!!
Hi guys, I have a relatively new setup that is having a hair algae break out. It doesn't seem to be affecting any of my plants except one, my hc. The hair algae looks really fine, fine threads, kind of like a spider web look but green, growing all over my hc and killing it. I have read in other posts that double dosing excel would work to kill this menace off. As for my other plants, I have a variety of rotalas, some staorogyne repens and diandandra. My take is inhabited by some danio erythromicrons. Given my flora and fauna do you think going with the excel double dose is a good course of action? Oh, and before I forget my tank is an 11.4 gallon mr aqua with a 36 watt pc fixture on it. the light is about 13-14 inches off the tank bottom,
All advice would be appreciated thanks
