Inconsistent Feeding Time

I feed my fish at 11am.. but sometimes at 8am, and sometimes even at 1pm.
Is this kind of inconsistency ok?

Yes. Remember, in the wild it's catch as catch can. A little irregularity in timing is unlikely to be harmful.

It's just a box of rain....

Ummm....Fish do pretty well on their own in the wild....Don't worry about it. Better to even miss a day that to over feed. I skip feeding one day a week, actually I skip the 8th day...keeps them guessing.

How does it keep them guessing if it's always every 8th day?

Because a fish's memory resets every eight days at midnight. Duh. Basic biology.

My fish are fed very irregularly. Sometimes 2x/day, morning and night, other times 2x/day (but lighter) evening and night, other times 1x/day morning or night, and some days no food.

It really depends when I'm home to feed them. I try feeding them 2x/day morning and night, but it doesn't always happen.
