question about CO2 Levels...

I was just wondering, is it possible to have too much CO2? Aside from potentially stressing/gassing my fish, is there any harm in too much CO2 for your plants? Often we hear that balance is the key to good plant growth, where too much light and not enough nutrients and co2 will cause problems, but if you had plenty of nutrients, low light and a lot of co2, does this cause any sort of deficiencies in plants?

FISH:

10G - 1 Male Betta Fish, 2 Peppered Corys, 2 African Dwarf Frogs

If there are no fauna in the tank, you can use as much CO2 as you want, with no negative effects. However, you will need to dose more fertilizers using CO2 than with no, or low CO2. The faster growing plants will need more food.

admittedly i don't have any test kits except phosphate and had plenty of that, so i assume the rest is there too since i do EI dosing. My fish start to breath a little heavy at the end of the photo period so I don't dare crank the co2 more, but wondered if maybe I had too much. My lighting must be my weak point

Thanks Hoppy!
