slime on driftwood
Hi. I bought a piece of mopani driftwood, Zoo Med, Fosters and Smith. I boiled it, soaked it, put it in tank, it developed a weird translucent slimy covering on part of it. I took it out, boiled and soaked it again. Same thing is happening.
As I was typing this, I realized that I'm not sure how long I boiled it for. Would it help if I made sure it boiled for, I don't know, two hours?
