My fish have super surviving powers!!
So, I don't have a heater, because of how hot it gets in my room. Normally my fish have to deal with daily temperatures or around 85 in their tank. And careful positioning of fans, some un-meltable ice cubes in my HOB, and a frozen water bottle stick where my heater goes can keep it at around 78 -80. This past week I have had a horrible heatwave, which is just magnified by my room. I have been doing everything I can to keep them cool, but haven't had much success..
My thermometer maxes out at 86, so for the past 3 days of this heat wave I have been actually testing the temperature.
So, for the past week my fish have been surviving, somehow, temperatures 95 and up. It was 95 today and 98 the last two days. I'm amazed..
BTW the fish are guppies cories some blue pearl shrimp and an oto.
This is the water temp btw... not the outside temp...
