my planted tank w/ 3d custom background

Hello,
I wanted to share with all of you how I set up my planted tank. I have been keeping fish for years now and finally created a styrofome and concrete background with pockets that accepts live plants. I think it worked out great you will have to let me know?

Anyway, I am thinking about creating a DIY video on the step by step procedure on getting the background just right. I also love video and editing and could do a nice DIY video. Please share your thoughts and let me know what you think?

Looks great!

Black is alway a great color.Have you experimented with other colors for a different look?

A DIY VID is a great idea. Your current VID is great too.

Best wishes,
Wes

I quit!

Very nice cichlid tank. I am planning to have one too soon.

Anyway I think your tank would be better without those plants. thing about cichlids - they look superb in a "barren land' tank.

That is one of the very best, natural looking DIY 3D backgrounds I've seen!

Go to the DIY section and start a thread detailing how you made that back ground!

Is it just painted, or did you add sand/clay to an epoxy?

Awesome! I wish more people would keep plants with their african cichlids. Those were real right?
