I thought I was growing plants, where did a mushroom come from

found this guy sticking out of the drifwood where my floating semi attached emersed growth is... is this a bad thing?

Wow thats the first time i've ever seen that. Looks interesting but i'd remove it. There are too many kinds of toxic mushrooms. I have no idea what kind that is but i wouldn't chance it.

its already been pulled, I thought yesterday it maay be a bud of some type from the emersed growth and pulled one of the little egg shaped things off(it was 2 little egg shaped things yesteday), today I looked and this one was already full grown! fast buggers... my fish seemed less amped about grabbing their food from the surface so I removed the mushy encase it was raining some toxic spores
