Window tint for background?

Anyone used dark black window tint for a background? How does it look?

Sure it would look pretty good, I've seen tanks with frost film on the back, looks nice.

To be honest I would just use a vinyl based matte black paint. It took like 200mL to do my 75g with 3 coats. No bubbles and can be peeled off with some good 'ole patience.

It would be way easier which is why I'm guessing it hasn't really been heard of

edit: guess I'm wrong about people not using it haha

I have used window tint on several of my tanks and it works great. I have used just plain black on most but have also tried some frosted and some different colors. The frosted did look kind of cool also.
