plants growing in a power filter?

Just wondering if anyone has normal house plants
Growing out of there hang on back power filters.
I have a modified biowheel 350 with some
Kinda house plant from walmart growing in it.
I kinda just stuck it in there and its been growing awsome.
But I don't know if its good or bad.

Lots of people have them and they usually do good. Its basically the same concept as a riparium.

that's actually pretty neat! what did you throw in there? about half the plant population can get root rot from being too wet so im curious as to what you used

I cannot remember what ther called but on the info tag it said they used a lot of water. They took about two weeks to adapt and then all of a sudden they started growing new leaves and a whole new type off root system and now they are vey healthy. They have been in the filter for 3 months now.

Are the leaves spade shaped with a sharp point? Do the leaves start out real soft then harden as they grow?

If so, yep Pothos, Ive got a house full of em.

I think I have Pothos growing in my 29 and 40 gallon tanks. See the pictures in the sig links. Angelfish used one of the leaves as a place to lay their eggs.
