bubble rate with needle wheel vs. CO2 reactor
I know a lot of folk have switched from CO2 reactors to needle wheels, and sometimes experimented with or the other, and then switched back - while still using the same regulator on the same tank.
Is there a difference in bubble rate required? Or max bubble rate tolerable by fish when using needle wheel vs. reactor on the same tank?
I'm about to switch from an AM1000 reactor to an external needle wheel pump on a 90gal and thought I'd see if any trends have emerged.
Thanks for any feedback,
