Cute little guy I found in my tank today

Pretty much freaked me out. He was hiding on the back of a moss mesh. He's about 1" long, and the picture is garbage (sorry) but he's got neat little pincer things on his head.

Is the abdomen soft tissue, or is it armored? If the former, it's probably dobsonfly (hellgramite) or fishfly larva. If armored, then a beetle as Mori mentioned.

I think it's the Tingler. On second thought you said it had pincers on its head I think it's one of those critters that crawled into Chekovs ear.
