My 75 is open topped. A month ago I heard a splash and saw my cat climb out of it. She must have been sitting on the rim....

Years ago, I was cleaning my 55 and had took the hood off. Our one cat decided it wanted to play with the fish. Instead of splashing around in the water like the cat in the video, he took the leap of faith into the aquarium. I turn around only to see him completely underwater swimming the entire length of the tank.

My cat does the same exact thing. He has absolutely no aversion to water...and an obsession with my little tank.

Same thing happened to me. Funniest thing ever! I watched the whole thing, from butt wiggle to leap to splashdown, a few seconds of underwater paw waving, then a frantic leap back out. But for one crisp second, my black cat was perfectly backlit in the center of my tank, bubbles streaming.
