Echinodorus Vesuvius

HI folks a question,

I have some Echinodorus Vesuvius and i have been waiting for it to produce runners and a few days ago i got a runner going but its going into the glass should i keep it there or cut the runner. if i cut it will the mother plant make a new runner thanks for the tips in advance

in my experience, vesuvius is a veryhardy plant.
If it were me & i wanted rapid growth. Id allow the runner to grow where it wanted.
Very likely it will grow up above substrate & produce numerous plantlets which u could then snip & replant where u would like.
In my tank i grows like a weed. Needs light but doesn't seem to be picky about much else.
