Moss ball question..

I have an idea for my tank, which is to have the moss balls be able to float and tie some fishing line to them and a rock to hold it down so i can have a few floating at different levels in my tank.

Only problem is that i do not know how to make these moss balls float, any help? suggestions? thanks

Hmmm tuff question!!! You could try and split it, put styrofoam in the middle and attach both parts with thread so the styrofoam isn't visible! The Marimo will still grow, just around the styrofoam... Hope this helps and good luck!
