Arrow What to do with 10G???

So I have a 10G tank sitting in the basement... I would only set it up in a couple of months... It is cracked halfway down (6") but if I silicone it and it doesn't leak, I want to use it... Any ideas on what I could put in it? I want fish, not invert only... Also, aquascaping? What plants/look should I go for? Any other ideas are welcomed...
Thanks

me I would throw about 2 inches of soil 4 inches of water and grow some submerged to emersed plants. and maybe a mosquito fish or two

with a 10g your looking at a small community.

maybe some micro rasboras, and a couple danios, a cory or two and your pretty much maxed out for bioload. (not knowing what you have for filtration I am hesitant to get your hopes to high on what you can stock)

I would do a Low-med tech planted tank and use the stock lighting (But replace the two bulbs with CFL's). Once that is done, could could add some low-med light plants.

The Dwarf puffer idea sounds great, but I would cut the puffers down to 2 and make the otto's 3. This is so each DP can claim at least 5 gallons of its own and the otto's can have a complete school. Just a word of warning though, both Oto and Dwarf puffer need established tanks.

Don't bother fixing the crack, and just do a small paludarium.

That's what I wanted to do before the tank cracked... But after letting it sit there for awhile, I decided I wanted an aquarium!
Thanks anyways!

I will probably cut it down to two and make the ottos 3 like mentioned above! Established means cycled right??
Thanks again

Established means a few months after they cycle with stable parameters (Usually the slightest ammonia or nitrite will kill a DP and Oto).
