Question disinfecting plants?

Hi,I was wondering how to disinfect new plants before putting them in the aquarium?I just got some brazilian pennywort & ludwigia & am wondering if a bleach dip would be ok?

yes, 2 minutes in a 19 part water 1 part bleach solution. However, be warned that some mosses and weak leaved stem plants such as vals might have leaves that won't make it. If the plant is strong give the bleach, trim the leaves, as they will die anyway, and throw it down in the substrate.

My main concern that the reason I dip is more algae and fungal rather than having hitch hikers. Some algae that comes in on plants can be extremely hard and sometimes impossible to get rid of.
