Baby Trumpet snails and syphoning..?

Hello, I was just curious about something.
I have PFS as the substrate in my 10 gallon aquarium, and a handful of baby MTS. About 10 or so are out at a given time. They have just recently popped out of our adult Trumpets.
If I try to siphon my tank, will I suck up baby MTS in the process? I'd really not like to kill them or have to dig through the bucket to get them back into the tank.
Thank you very much in advance!

My experience with MTS is that you wouldn't notice the difference if you siphoned up all the babies and shipped them to Hawaii - they'll be back! I'd worry more about keeping them under control rather than watching out for them - they are prolific!

I have 6 assassin snails in a 54g tank with an MTS infestation and they are barely making a dent in the population! Over time, though, it should balance out!

MTS are now my enemy since they won't let me grow an HC carpet !!

Well we have a method of getting rid of them if they do get too out of control: Red eared sliders.
We also have no babies at all in another 10 gallon tank, so we can transfer some to there too if need be
Thanks for the reply!

I need some, send me a pm if you feel like digging them out and shipping them. My assassins are starving and I'm tired of digging up snails at the lake!

Oh man I don't even know the first thing about shipping critters. Besides, I'd say we don't have quite enough to warrant shipping. I only ever see 10 babies out at a time. When the sand becomes mobile though, I will defiantly be sure to let you know Really my fear is just losing the babies we have gotten so far.
