20 or 29 gallon riparium?
So, after looking at a lot of the nice ripariums on here, like all of hydrophyte's, I started to want one. I recently acquired a 20 long and a 29 gallon and I am wondering which one would make a better riparium. If I used the 20 long, I would de-rim it and fill it almost to the top with water, with the plants growing up over the tank. If I used the 29, I would only partially fill it with water, with the plants growing out of the water but still within the tank.
I may end up doing both eventually, especially if I like the way the first one turns out. The question is, which one do I try, the 20 long or 29? From what little I understand, the 29 would be better for high humidity plants, since they are enclosed. I don't know what plants I am going to use yet. If anyone knows if one way is easier (lower maintenance or hardier plants) than the other, feel free to comment. Any other suggestions would be appreciated as well.
