Day 33 of DSM and running into issues :(
As per the title I'm on day 33 of my dry start and been running into a a couple of issues. I've seen some growth with the monte carlo but not really any explosive growth as I've seen in other journals on the forum. Most of the MC seems to be browning out or the leaves turning yellow. The repens seem to have completely dried out except for one. I've also had a couple of white mold spores that have been appearing but been removing manually. I'm thinking...is the lighting is too strong and as a result the leaves are getting burned?
Issues: Monte Carlo browning/yellowing, white mold spores appearing, and Staurogyne Repens dying out.
Plants: Monte Carlo and Staurogyne Repens submersed grown
Tank: 6.5 gallon long tank with 24 x 8.2 x 9.3 inch dimensions
Substrate: 1 inch of Fluval Stratum + root tabs
Lighting: NICREW ClassicLED Plus Planted Aquarium Light 18-24"
Schedule: 12 hours/a day with a daily mist in the morning. Tank cover on top with cling film with a small 1 inch air gap in the back.
Any help would be greatly appreciated!
