Anyone have experience cycling w/ low ph?

I think my tank has been up for about 2 months now. I get a nitrate reading. Ammonia seems to be going down very slowly at this point. I was just wondering has anyone successfully completed a cycle with a PH around 5. My ph atm is exactly 5.

Ph: 5
Kh: 2 degrees
Ammonia: 1ppm
Nitrite: 0 ppm
Nitrates: 5-10 ppm

bump

Edit: Ammonia 1ppm
Nitrates: 80+ ppm

Now I am really lost. My nitrates are through the roof but ammonia doesn't really seem to change.

Update: In case someone else comes across this in the future.

I set up my tank approximately 2/18/2020 with ADA aquasoil amazonia light. Yesterday on 5/1/2020, my tank is converting 2ppm Ammonia to Nitrates in 24hrs. So, I had successfully cycled an aquarium with a PH of exactly 5 ( courtesy of PH pen meter), and negligible KH. I just recently started weekly water changes to try to keep KH around 2 by dosing GH/KH+, although the buffering capacity of the soil strips it all in ~48hrs.

Super excited to get back into the hobby.
