HELP unknown mites on pleco

I am currently treating a male bristlenose pleco for a bacterial infection in a 10 gallon tank with API erythromycin. Today I noticed he appeared extremely agitated and had very small brown spots on him. I was able to get one and look at it under my microscope, I swear the thing attached to my finger while I was holding it. It was brown, kind of teardrop shaped, had 8 legs, and two fang like mouth parts. I will try to post pictures. Any help with identification and treatment would be extremely appreciated.

That is a water mite.

I'm not aware of any specific treatment for water mites. A formalin or permanganate bath might work:
