C02 question

Is it possible to get two co2 tanks to release c02 to one aquarium. I have a 90 gallon planted aquarium and 1 co2 tank is just not enough so I want to have 2 co2 tanks connected to 1 co2 regulator. My question here is - is there a co2 regulator that can connect 2 co2 tanks or is there any other co2 equipment that can do that?

Sorry I don't have the answer to your question. I'm sure with the right fitting it could be done, but I have to ask......

When you say it's not enough, why is that?

Would a bigger co2 tank be a simpler solution?

Consider that the pressures involved are very high and a second tank means you'd need to plumb in a high pressure manifold to connect both tanks. Add to the possibility of either leakage, or the manifold failing or exploding.

Just buy a decent, bigger CO2 tank

How big is the present CO2 tank?

Have you ruled out that you might have a slow leak?

Have you checked that your CO2 injection system is working properly, i.e. it's not wasting CO2 to too much surface agitation, or the bubbles are uselessly going to the tank water's surface before they've had enough time to dissolve fully.
