It's super quiet and I really like the heater inside the filter. One of the hose clamps isn't as tight as the other, but it isn't leaking. I also had to put Vaseline on the cover gasket, but I've had to do that on all the canister filters now.

I'll be adding some crypt parva later today, but for now here's a photo of my dragonscale beta that lives here. - taken this morning with my iphone 11 pro max and minor edits in photoshop cc.

Low iron looks great, you can see the difference between the tanks.

I was psyched to get it. I'm saving for a 72 gallon rimless to replace that 45 gallon in the photo.

I added a really small patch of Crypt Parva in the foreground. I should probably pull it out and separate the plants a bit. In the back right corner I added one Echinodorus Reni from a tissue culture cup. The rest went into the 45. Here's an updated photo from this morning.

It looks like the anubius on the far left is getting some yellow in the leaves. I'm not sure if it's a light issue or a fert issue. I'm dosing one squirt of Aquarium Co-Op Easy Green each day and some Seachem Florish Iron twice a week. I ordered some Nilocg Thrive + and that will be here on Wednesday.

Sorry for bringing up an old thread, but how is the fluval nano light working out on the clear 16? I'm looking into getting this same tank and was considering the same light as well but was worried it might be too small/not enough light with just one.

It is too small, I think. I tried to add a 2nd light but I had to return that one and eventually replaced the nano with the 24" Fluval (it was a little difficult to fine someone that had them in stock too). That started a crazy growth of algae I'm dealing with now. I dropped the intensity to 50% at the peak and moved the light up off the tank.
