Looks like a great light but would it work on an odd size tank like 23.5? It doesn't look like the mounts adjust in past the edges of the light. Do you use the command module? Not sure if its necessary or not

Awesome, thanks again for all your help. I'm gonna start ordering the rest of what I need once I figure out a decent light lol.

Sure thing, the Chihiros WRGB 60 should fit your tank according to this store aquasabi, says it is suitable for 60-80 cm aquariums. Worst case you get it and it doesn't fit and you have to send it back to amazon.
You also need to pick up the commander 4 module in order to control the fixture.

The specs of tank you posted said 23.6”, specs on that light says 23.6” so figured it would fit.

I don’t own one but they seem to get good reviews. Yes the module for BT app control is extra.

I'm having a hard time finding much info on it. There's a few reviews on amazon that say it's a good light but the app sucks. Not having any luck browsing the forum either. I'm running in circles here lol

-4 or 5 pairs of 'Scarlet' Endlers Livebearer's

I'd reccomend that you have a plan for rehoming Enders if you get that many. They breed like crazy.
They do need groups but a group could be 1 male and 2 female.

I'll probly just throw in some oto's and a couple siamese algae eaters once I've got the nitrogen cycle started. I'm more concerned with everything growing in and looking how I'd like anyway.

Does anyone know the actual length of the fluval 3.0 24" model? Not from bracket to bracket but the actual light fixture. Trying to see if I can throw together some acrylic mounts that would work on a 23.6" tank

An answer on amazon said "Glass is 18”. Collapsed length is 23 1/4”. Expanded length is 35”. Width is 2 1/2”.".

I would advise you actually get the light before making something though. The main reason being the comment said the glass, but who knows if they mean the whole fixture minus the mounts or just the actual glass length.

Yeah, I'll definitely wait till I have the light to worry about mounts just hoped someone could save me the time if it doesn't work. I ordered everything a couple days ago except for the light, there was a bunch of reviews on amazon saying the fluval they got was used with pictures of wear lol. I'll pick that up locally. I'm spoiled with amazon prime so waiting for this tank to get here is gonna drag
