Unhappy Please help me






Hello. I bought this water plant from the local shop and the seller told me its a Lotus. for first days the plant was fine and growing and suddenly the leafs turn to yellow color and even one of them fall. i am not a pro and i want to know is there any way to help this plant to survive?

Hi @Bahrum,

Welcome to TPT!

The plant that is floating in the picture appears to be Pistia stratiotes (water lettuce) and not a species of Nymphaea. It requires strong light and nutrients to grow well.

Think you misheard them. It’s water lettuce not lotus.

Will need a stronger overhead light and light dosing of full spectrum fertilizer (thrive) to stay healthy.
