Leach like creature from plants from eBay?

I bought a bag of hornwort and noticed a black worm on it that was no bigger than half my finger nail (however can somehow stretch and elongate itself) and moves around like a leach using the back of its tail to anchor itself and having its head sense it’s surroundings.

Another thing I’ve noticed is that there’s this slimy orb on the hornwort. It can’t be pulled off and has some rigidity. Could these be some kind of parasites from my plants? And could they harm me or my fish? My family is also sceptical

Yep, that's a leech. I can't ID it to species, but most leeches are detritivores, not bloodsuckers. It's probably harmless.
